The owners of Opera House Casino are in talks to develop Scarborough's North Street car park area into an exciting entertainment venue. This follows the very successful redevelopment of the derelict opera house and general regeneration in the area including Matalan and TK Maxx.

Outline plans for the entertainment venue have now been submitted and include a 5 or 6 screen cinema, giving Scarborough its first multi screen cinema in the town, plus several 10-pin bowling alleys, shops and an underground car park to replace the spaces lost.
